Fashion In Pfanner Celebrates Made In Italy Craftsmanship
The Fashion In Pfanner event returns to Lucca, Tuscany, for the second year running to celebrate Italian craft skills in fashion.
The event runs from 13 to 15 September 2013 and will be held in the city’s historic centre, in the Residence of the 17th-century Palazzo Pfanner. Some 50 exhibitors representing the excellence of Made in Italy will display tailored clothing, accessories, fragrances, furnishings, bags, caps and jewellery.
The organisers say Fashion In Pfanner provides an opportunity to buy products from all over Italy that are usually only available to insiders. The aim is to provide a fun way to come into direct contact with handcrafted artefacts produced with passion and creativity, just as happened in the shops of yesteryear.
Fashion In Pfanner includes a section dedicated to art and photography. Also on the programme are musical performances, and daily tastings of gastronomic specialties and beers from Lucca.
Fashion In Pfanner has been sponsored by the city of Lucca in collaboration with Spin Factory, and the Confederazione Nazionale dell’Artigianato e della Piccola e Media Impresa (National Confederation of Crafts and Small- and Medium-sized Businesses). Fashion blogger Sandra Bacci is the official blogger for the event.
