The National Association of Mafia Victims' Families hit out at wedding celebrations in Corleone for the daughter of Cosa Nostra superboss Toto' 'The Beast' Riina on Wednesday.
Lucia Riina, 28, married salesman Vincenzo Bellomo, 34, in the Sicilian town's Immacolata church.
''We hope Lucia Riina and Vincenzo Bellomo are aware that their new family is founded on the sorrow of hundreds of mafia victims' families,'' said association president Sonia Alfano.
''Not only have the two newly-weds never taken a stance against Mafia barbarism, but today they publicly thanked the boss-father of the bride, insulting those who have suffered from Riina's savagery,'' she added.
