The Monte dei Paschi di Siena banking group's first project in their Progetto Distretti initiative is dedicated to the Prato Textile District.
The fruit of an agreement between the MPS group and the Prato Industrial Union to favour the development of textile businesses, the project has been signed by the corporate director of the MPS group, Enzo Nicoli, and president of the Prato Industrial Union, Carlo Longo.
The project provides valuable services and products for businesses, including Diagnostics, Pact, Capitalization Limit and Internationalisation Services.
Progetto Distretti offers personalized services aimed at accelerating businesses in their markets, offering a way out of situations that may be holding them back, examining management factors that condition their rating and evaluating competitiveness in order to formulate proposals to create examples of the ''districts of tomorrow''.
To favour the growth project, the bank created Pact, which offers financial support to businesses for the duration of a shared business plan.
To overcome the structural under-capitalization of businesses, some financial instruments will be available on an ad hoc basis, such as new participative loans and other solutions for the support of investments in the alternate energy sector.
The Prato Industrial Union accompanies and sustains its member businesses, proposing services to bring companies closer to evolved, quality financial products, as well as the realization of their own development plans.
Companies in the Prato district that would like further information can contact the small business department of the MPS banking group or the Prato Industrial Union.
