If you’re in Florence this summer, take advantage of extended hours at two of the city’s most famous and visited museums: the Uffizi and the Accademia.
Every Tuesday for the next three months, the two cultural institutions will be open until 10 pm instead of closing at the regular 7 pm time.
The initiative returns to Florence for the 9th consecutive year thanks to the positive response from the public, which has continued to increase over the years, museum officials have said.
Late-night opening will continue until September 30.
In addition, every Friday night (this applies to all state-run museums), the Uffizi and the Accademia will be open until 9 pm.
