Vespalogy: An Animated Tribute to 70 years of the Vespa
French creative agency Nomoon documents the evolution of the Vespa from 1943 through to the present day with ‘Vespalogy’ - an animated tribute to the world’s most iconic scooter.
"It's not an advertising, it's a graphic and groovy retrospective of Vespas from 1943 to 2013. This is our tribute to Vespa. Just because we love Vespa," they write of the video.
Vespa, which in Italian means wasp, is manufactured by Piaggio, whose headquarters are in Pontedera (Tuscany). The Vespa has evolved from a single model motor scooter manufactured in 1946 to a full line of scooters. "Vespa: not just a scooter, a way of life" is the line the company uses to advertise the vehicle known and beloved all over the world.
