We are an agriturismo based in Vinci, Tuscany.Our British clients having enjoyed our wine and olive oil, will often ask if we can send wine to them back in the UK.We would love to do this, but the cost of doing so is horrendous.For a recent request for us to send 10 bottles of wine, the duty payable was €80, which is unbelievable since you can drive through to Dover having bought wine in France and pay nothing all within the EU.It seems for any small business trying to do business with the UK,another EU member, life is made difficult and in this case has spoilt someone's idea for a great Christmas present to boot
