We really love Italy and we could only

We really love Italy and we could only think of living there and nowhere else in the world.We have travelled extensively and we understand living in overseas is not very easy, especially the process.I am from Japan and my husband is American, we have no parents/grandparents that were registered/born in Europe which make us not entitled to have the visa we could posibly have.We have done extensive research on how we can get qa visa to live in Italy, we both work remotely so that is not a problem but just need a visa if we would like to live there for more than 90days every six months.I know Italy doesn't offer golden visa from purchasing properties there and we thought of investment visa in Greece or Portugal but failed since you can't loan money and we are not millionares.Anyone know how we could make our dream of living in Italy come true somehow?Is there any visa programs we don't know about or some legal "trick" that we could live there and work remotely?Please help. Thank you.
