Satellite dish in the garden

Hi,What are the regulations regarding satellite dish installations in your own home / garden?I'm a bit of a techno-geek when it comes to this sort of stuff and I spend a lot of time setting them up and tweaking them.Planning permission?Max size of dish?Neighbour complaints? Thanks,JD
