For any US folks looking to obtain Italian citizenship through the Jure Sanguinis process, the waiting time for an appointment is pretty long. After compiling all the necessary documents called for an appointment in LA and June was the earliest appointment available. The guy told me that in NY the earliest is in 2017 and Miami almost as long a wait. So, plan accordingly and good luck.Fred

It is a process, that is for sure. We are awaiting our Italian passports after being approved for duel citizenship. We are in Arizona so we had to go to LA. Our wait time wasn't quite that bad. Sold our house and moving next year. Ouritalianjourney.com
