Does anyone know of cooking classes in Sicily? I am planning a trip in October 2015 and would like to take some classes in Sicilian cooking.

Hi, it's probably too late to reply to this question, but if you're still looking, there is a school in Modica I've heard good things about.  I wrote a post about them here:  http://learningescapes.net/escapeswelove/cooking-holidays/cooking-and-culinary-holiday-in-sicily-one-week/ At the end of the page there's link if you want to contact them directly: Katia, the owner, is Sicilian but speaks English.  They have residential cooking weeks but also offer shorter stays. Hope this helps!

Ciao,I can set you up with some Sicilain friend that are great cooks... they can teach you in person the real recipes and give you a fullimmersion in sicilian lifestyle. I also have a nice apartment for rent through a good friend of mine. I'm Italian and can assist you in making your travel plans. For free travel tips to Sicilia check out my faceboook page - plenty of photos and atricles regarding Sicily on it: https://www.facebook.com/travelitalyalacarteCiao! Christina

Drop me a message if you like -there is a great B&B outside Scicli and the owner gives cooking lessons - she has a blog called buccia di limone.  Or near Ispica there is a Baronessa who will teach you old sicilain recipes to her guests at fortezza villa bruno - an amazing 10th century fortress.
