Hello. I hope it is OK to post this enquiry here.  I am trying to trace my family history to Cupra Marittima . My great grandfather was Lou/Luigi Luciani believed to have been born around 1866. His father's name might have been Eugene, and his mother Maria Paccasassi. Family stories indicate Lou came to Australia in 1884, aged 18.  I have had no success whatsoever in being able to confirm any of this, nor have I been able to find a link to him through ancestry.com even though I have a number of DNA matches to people from Ascoli Piceno. I have found other Luciani people born in Cupra Marittima about the same time, being Maddalena, Lavinia and Livia. I would be extremely grateful if anybody could help in this search or advise me where I could search further.
