Circa 2003-2005 I bought this luxury platform bed from Design Centro Italia, which imported it from Italy.
A button on each side of the platform raises and lowers the headboards that contain hidden shelves.
The frame was damaged extensively during a recent move, and I'm trying to find more information for the insurance adjustor.
Design Centro Italia closed after 30 years of business. I reached out to the former president Nathan Hamar, who responded by email that the bed was discontinued and he cannot provide an estimate of value. He linked me to the most similar item ($10,050) but it lacks the storage headboards.
It's a long shot, but perhaps someone here may recognize the furniture and can point me to a web site that has sold these unique pieces?
I've searched all the American sites such as Etsy. 1st Dibs, Pomono, etc.
