The Pelingo Sanctuary

Acqualagna is a town in the Province of Pesaro e Urbino, in the Italian region Marche. It is one of the main centers in Italy for truffle. The National Truffle Fair in Acqualagna is a hugely popular food and wine event and takes place from the last weekend of October until mid-November. The small village offers several place of interest and religious monuments such as the Parish church, with traces of 15th-16th century frescoes, the Pelingo Sanctuary and Villa di Colombara.
