Hello,
Caltanissetta (Sicily)
Caltanissetta is a city in the central interior of Sicily, and the capital of the Province of Caltanissetta.
Caltanissetta is one of few Italian provinces with an exclave, the Commune of Resuttano, which is totally surrounded by Palermo's provincial territory.
The city's monuments include: the Palazzo Moncada, erected in 1635, the Cathedral of Santa Maria la Nova, the Church of San Sebastiano. Caltanissetta has three museums: the Diocesan Museum; the Mineralogical Museum; the Regional Archeological Museum. The latter holds displays mostly from prehistoric times and includes finds from archeological digs conducted in the 1950s. These include vases and tools from the Bronze Age and early Sicilian ceramics.

Good morning
I am looking for someone to help me with tracing my Sicilian ancestors (Messina, circa 1815!) and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with professional genealogists in the area and could possibly recommend anyone please?
Many thanks

We have bought a house in Sicily and i have been told we need to replace our roof tiles because of a law coming in. i have searched the internet and cant find a law, so wondered if anyone could help me. Could it be that we have asbestos roof tiles?
