Dorgali (Sardinia)

Dorgali is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Nuoro, in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 230 kilometres (140 mi) northeast of Cagliari and about 38 kilometres (24 mi) east of Nuoro in the Seaside Supramonte mountain area. Economy is mostly based on the vine and wine production and, in summertime, on tourism. In one of the caves, Ispinigoli, the only known specimen of the extinct giant otter Megalenhydris was found. The Nuragic village of Tiscali is an unusual place, hidden and mysterious, inside Mount Tiscali, where time seems to have stopped.

Our recipe of the week is made with "fregula", similar to couscous but with a more toothsome bite. This grain is typical to Sardinia and best serves with a delicious clam sauce.

Flights from Rome to Sardinia

Does anyone know if RyanAir is the only airline that flies from Rome to Sardinia, direct.

Hi, I am starting the process of building a simple minimalist studio space in Sardegna (no interiors walls, no bathroom and just a small kitchen) and I am looking for a good and trustworthy Geometra. I was wondering if anyone here had a good experience and could recommend one.
