Description

Experience the soul of Italy's renowned Piedmont region through an intimate, 8-day journey that goes far beyond typical wine tours. Stay in an exclusive 19th-century villa, originally built by the Lavazza family, set among rolling vineyards that produce some of Italy's most prestigious wines. With just 16 guests or fewer, this all-inclusive experience offers unprecedented access to the families who have shaped this region for generations.
Learn the secrets of Piedmontese cuisine through three hands-on cooking classes in private homes, including crafting traditional lasagna and gnocchi with our dear friend Marina in her family winery. Join authentic truffle hunts with local families and their trained dogs, taste wine with small producers like Giorgio, who might share special pre-label Barolo straight from the barrel, and enjoy intimate dinners in private villas with sweeping views of the Alps.

This journey takes you deep into the heart of Barolo, Barbaresco, and Roero wine country, but through the side door that only locals know. Shop at local markets, make pizza in wood-fired ovens at a friend's villa, craft your own signature perfume in historic Savigliano, and explore Turin's historic cafés where Italy's unification was planned. Each experience is crafted through personal relationships, from dining in private homes to exclusive winery visits that aren't open to the public.

Your home base is the stunning Villa Cornarea, featuring nine elegant rooms with private baths and breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards. Here, you're not just near the action – you're living above the very cellars where the region's famous Arneis wine was first brought to market.
This isn't just a tour; it's a week of living like a local among friends who happen to make some of the world's finest wines and cuisine. Join us for an unforgettable journey that weaves together exceptional food, prestigious wines, and most importantly, the wonderful people who make this region so special.

What Makes Us Different

We're not a traditional tour company - we're your Italian family waiting to welcome you home, and that is what brings so many of our guests back over and over.

From the moment you arrive, you'll discover an experience that breaks all the rules of traditional travel:

  • Family, Not Tourists - We don't have "guides" - we have hosts who become your Italian family. They don't walk ahead with a flag; they sit beside you at dinner, share stories over wine, and treat you like a long-lost relative coming home. Want to help stir the sauce or set the table? Jump right in - that's what family does!

  • True All-Inclusive Philosophy - When you visit family, they don't charge you "extra" for dessert or keep track of how many glasses of wine you drink. Everything is included because that's how family works. The wine rack is yours to explore, the kitchen is open to all, and there's always room for seconds (or thirds).

  • A New Way of "Service" - Forget traditional customer service - this is family service. Need more wine? You know where the bottles are - grab one for everyone! Want to help wash dishes or serve lunch? Come on over! This isn't about being waited on; it's about being part of a household where everyone pitches in and shares the joy of Italian living.  Of course, if you don;t want to, nobody will force you to do the dishes!

  • Living Like Locals, Not Looking Like Tourists - You're not following a tour guide's umbrella - you're shopping at the market with your Italian "cousin," learning family recipes passed down through generations, and becoming part of village life. Our neighbors become your friends, our home becomes your home, and our traditions become your traditions.

This isn't a vacation - it's coming home to the Italian family you never knew you had. If you're looking for white-glove service and formal guides, we're not for you. But if you want to experience the real soul of Italy through the eyes of family, pull up a chair. There's always room at our table.
