The International Kite Festival in Basilicata is one of the most famous kite gatherings in the world.
The 10-day event paints the sky with vibrant colors, as international kite artists gather to display their skills in front of locals and visitors alike.
This year, the festival is scheduled to take place April 24 to May 4.
This creative, family friendly event includes other fun activities such as mountain biking, flight simulator, outdoor yoga, hiking, photography, clay workshops, climbing, archery and horse riding.
