If you are going to be near Faenza [Emilia-Romagna] on Tuesday or Wednesday night you have a chance to taste local food and wine whilst listening to music at the Torre di Oriolo dei Fichi park.
And, as Tuesday is the Feast of San Lorenzo, you may see some falling stars as well! [According to tradition, you can see the stars on the nights of the 10th and 11th August.]
The evening festivities will begin at 19.30 with the opening of food and wine stands. A ticket for three wine tastings will cost €7.00, whilst a ticket for a single tasting will cost €1.50. At 21.30 on Wednesday evening there will be a special tasting of “Centesimino” wine at €15.00.
You will also be able to visit the medieval tower, which offers wonderful views of the surrounding countryside.
When darkness falls you will be able to look for falling stars independently or with an expert guide and musical entertainment will be offered on Tuesday by the band Soul Idea and on Wednesday by the VeNa Acustic Duo, who will play their own versions of songs that have marked the history of popular music.
You should book for the Centesimino tasting by calling 333 3814000.
