A recent survey published by The Art Newspaper documenting 2012 visitors figures for exhibition and museum attendance sees Italian museums featured in just about every list compiled by the monthly newpaper about the visual arts based in London. Florence proves to be the winner among Italian art cities: the Tuscan city in fact keeps showing up in the top ten of most lists.
