3464 Rome Ciampi-oh-no!

I was just looking at Google Maps' new high detail street maps of Italy when I noticed that, rather worryingly, the streets of downtown Ciampino seem to run straight through the runway of Ciampino airport....

Hee hee hee :) well spotted - must go and have a look at this new improved google map, the old one had a big green blob very close to Fiumicino, and I suspected it could be some google camouflage for something military.

No, the Fiumicino one is a lake, but there is a bit, just south of Avezzano, which looks very fishy to me. It is here on the map :)
