Yep, boring as hell!
22:57 Additional information: Just to make things 110% clear my original post above was in reply to Gio who started this thread called 'it's far to quite'. Now, yes I can understand that maybe it could have looked I meant talking about planes (which I do find boring) but it wasn't. Even if my reply was about planes can some one tell me why, jig, Paula and Ric had to, 1) take any notice and 2) be so aggressive?
I personallly am sick to death of this! Jig, please take note anything I post in this forum is not/will not ever be directed at you because I have had enough a long time ago, unless I put you in quotes! Additional information: 01:44

I think you've missed a very bit important factor, the weather, we have actually got some nice weather at the moment, I for one ironed outside in the sun today, have spent days in the garden, walked the dog and have spent every night since Friday outside under my patio heater with a nice bottle of wine, no telly, nice conversations with my beloved and its wonderful. Who wants to be stuck inside glued to a monitor....bring on more I say.
old

Sitting outside

Now that is actually an interesting thought - Jig sitting outside having a glass of wine on the wing of concorde at 45,000 feet. Fleeting I know but took the boredom away for a second :D
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
Sounds very nice but is it not possible to have the best of both worlds, to achieve the happy medium. To enjoy the humour, the debates when and if you want to. Bit tricky if there's nothing here to have that choice.
No one has to enter the circolo or any of the forum if they don't wish to.
hang on

Why cant you let people live their lives without always resorting to goading? Everyone can see it! We can all see the malice, see the genuine nastiness inside. Why, what pleasure do you gain from it?
Please stop. Most people are forgiving, you will be forgiven again and again, but please, stop now.

There are in fact a number of wines called Trulli, the cheapest on this site being £6.95, is that cheap for wine, wouldn't pay that myself but I still have boxes of the stuff left from our trip in October..

Nice chat? What is it you do the best on here jig? Goad, lie, write nasty posts then delete them. Dave's post was a joke, your post was a nasty personal insult and I fail to see where the bullying came in.

Wording
Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on Thu, 05/11/2006 - 17:08In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
It didn't really come across like that, perhaps better wording, to anybody reading it it would imply that you meant Jigs post was boring as hell, and I am not the only person to misunderstand the post. Jig was just making a humorous reply to a post, nothing more and it was about aviation, nothing else. What on earth could have been read into that. Nobody wants a war on here, we all thought we were done with that and things have improved lately..:D

Ric, you are wrong very very wrong. I don't play stupid games. if I have a problem with someone on here I will tell them directly ok.
And at the moment you lot are giving me a problem. Jig, Paula Ric! Is that clear enough for you!

Thats about all;
Any one remotely interested in Concord or past Aviation?..Maybe not !
It is a shame not to be able to discuss a subject.
As it happens, I watched a fascinating documentary the other night on the De Havilland Comet, and the series of crashes caused by metal fatigue.

Manchester airport have one and you can pay and have a look inside. We took the little ones last summer (p'd down as usual) and Dom absolutely loved it. He loves planes and we could stand on a hill and watch the planes land and take off. For any three year old its a great and inexpensive afternoon. You can even take your own picnic as there are tables. Couldn't believe how many anoracks there with their radio's listening in and writing numbers down, now that is plane boring...;)
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
For some strange reason, it is the air crash programmes that interest me: Black Box and Air Crash Investigation amongst others. I must have seen them all  Some truly awful events. :(
I was once in an aborted take-off on a 737 where we shook violently just after getting off the ground, but still had enough space to get back down in time. I'm not a very good flyer.

Just one quick and simple question if I may!!!!
What does all of this have to do with Italy?
Don't mean to be mean or stick my nose in-----but in Italy we are laid back and take things with a pinch of salt.
Italy mag is a great publication and doesn't need to be spoiled with such back stabbing.
Just my personal observation for what it's worth!!! lol x
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
It doesn't have to be about Italy but it used to interconnect in someway, either directly to Italy or to the main forum and can only be viewed by members.
A place to let off steam.

Maybe we can discuss Italian Aviation History :D !
Fiorenza de Bernardi became Italy's first woman airline pilot in 1967, when she was hired by Aeralpi. In 1969 she became Italy's first woman airline captain. She also founded the Italian Women Pilots Association. She has flown Twin Otters, Islanders, Queen Airs, Yak-40s, and DC-8s all over the world for various airlines and charter companies.

mmm...I like the jokes ,and lightening the mood, ,Have you been famous,?etc...this was all a bit of fun...so we can't discuss aviation here because it bores you and aviation is not connected to Italy.
I apologise for boring you Trulli.
Did I, have I ever said you can not discuss aviation? You were not boring me, I don't read what I'm not interested in. I was answering Dream Academy's question. You can do what you like jig but if you post something to me I may reply, state your name and quote you, just so the record is always clear and there is no misunderstanding.

I am amazed at how the tone of this thread has so drastically altered since last night. I thought my eyes were deceiving me, but after closer inspection, realise it is due to some fairly heavy editing and even some deletions. Oh well, not to worry, now where were we?
Ah yes, spaceships and other flying machines.

Indeed I have!
Only last night it flew over a field with a cow in it called Germintrude, where we stopped and had a strawberry milk shake and some mozzerella, then on to a display of WWII fighting machines, before finally stopping at a merry-go-round, where there were some magnificent men whizzing around in, as yet, unidentified models. :p
Mind you, the running expenses are horrendous, so I may have it converted to run on hot air, as there seems to be an abundance of the stuff! :D

Anyone here have an alcohol problem? Just asking :)
Now, I'm not sure about this spaceship thingey...I knew a gal who had one once and she got me into massive trouble
