8951 kitten anyone?

My lovely cat has just had five extremely cute kittens. We are keeping one so in a few months will have four to give to loving homes.

If anyone is in the Lake Garda or Northern Italy area (or anywhere in Italy really if you are happy to travel to collect) and is interested, just let me know by PM.

They are only two days old now so don't know sexes, but they look like they are going to be two dark tabbies, one black with a white smudge on his nose, and one with black and white splodges.

They come from a long line of very healthy, tranquil and affectionate cats (I still have the great-grandmother!)

When they get a bit more adventurous I will post a pic if anyone is interested.:smile:

why wait for them to get adventurous? what's cuter than pic's of a quintet of newborn fluffy kittens?

That's sheer marketing gold right there Garda - especially if you can get 'em into a group hug scenario (see Charles Phillips attachment in recent "pussy cat post" thread!) ... get your camera out & strike while the iron's hot!

OK, image attached.
From the picture I can see the colours/markings more clearly: looks like two tabbies, a tabby and white, a tortoiseshell and pure white (we're keeping the white one!)

Mum looks rather exhausted, doesn't she.

Anyway, they will be ready in about two and a half months...:yes:

Ahhhh kittens, but how would I explain a new addition to our 2 English cats, and returned after 4 days with no word of apology, Italian cat, who has eaten 3 breakfasts and is now fast asleep on the bed, no doubt planning new ways in which to worry me to death. Sweet kittens though, I am sure you will have no problems in finding them homes.
