10547 diy tax returns
the quotes i've had from accountants and commercialistas seem ridiculous E120 + IVA for my partner and I each! This seems crazy considering the limited info one of them informed us would be required.
We livin in England and rent our place out. Has anyone in a similar situation done a tax return themselves? Is it difficult?
I found this: "Non-residents with income arising in Italy must also file a tax return. The tax system is based on self-assessment and the tax office won’t send you a tax return or chase you to complete one. Tax returns are available free from your local council ( municipio) or can be purchased from a tobacconist or stationer. They can also be downloaded from the Ministry of Finance’s website (www.finanze.it)." on a website, but couldn't make out where to download the correct form. Perhaps someone would be good enough to point me in the right direction.
One other thing. I've seen conflicting information about when a tax return is due? October 30th or January 1st?
Thanks in advance, B

This will be the '730-IRPEF'
IRPEF (Imposta sul Reddito delle Persone Fisiche): it is an income tax to be paid by individuals in percentage on their earnings and shares held (IN Italy).

This is due in June every year and is a 'self assessment'. I get mine done by the local trade union representative (expert). These people usually visit the Comunes once a week and give tax guidance and assistance to local people. You do not have to be a member of any trade union to get their advice. But for them to complete my '730' and submit it for me, their charge is €65. which is god value. Your local Comune office where you have your property will be able to give you details on visits etc.
