11505 Warning!! - check your Ryanair flight schedule

[FONT="Comic Sans MS"]I was going to fly to Pisa from Bournemouth with Ryanair in April. I had made all the arrangements at this end and planned my itinerary to fly back to Pisa on Thursday 16th April. Their schedule said that after the spring timetable change they were flying Tuesdays Thursdays and Saturdays (as they did last year). Been watching the price of flights weekly and then this week the Thursday flight was 'unavailable'. They have changed their schedule to Wednesdays and Saturdays. As ever there is nothing on their website to warn you of this. So if you have flight plans for the summer, I suggest you check that the flights are still available and not part of this change. Yes I noticed that East midlands to Ciampino Rome is reduced now to every other day.... seems this will be the sign of the times as they need to fill the planes.:masked:

And BA has reduced the number of flights from Gatwick to Catania as well:no:

I think I read BA flights between Fiumicino and Heathrow/Gatwick are to increase from six to nine

We have just found out that Ryanair have also reduced the East Midlands to Rimini flight. The last couple of years the flight has been available from late March to October, but as far as we can see it is only available in July and August this year. Seems like there are less and less flights from the Midlands/ North - have already lost the Liverpool to Ancona flight - soon there will be none left from the Northern airports!

Same thing with Stansted to Pescara. Daily, yes but only July and August.

But seeing as you can still fly to Ancona from Stansted it's not so bad. To add insult to injury for those travelling to the Midland sfrom the Adriatic side is that the only regular flight (Bolgna- Birmingham) is at some uneartly hour of the morning. I'm really looking forward to the day in May when I have to drive to Bologna & back to Marche to pick my parents up(at least a 6 hour round trip) and then teach dancing & aerobics for 6 hours!!! (of course the flights are always on days I teach)

Yes but not everyone goes to the coast, Helen. You can of course fly to Ciampino but that's further away. However flights to Ciampino will be rerouted to Viterbo probably in time. Not as easy as it used to be unfortunately.
