11999 Ideas needed for somewhere to eat on Good Friday near San Benedetto

Hi

We are flying out on Good Friday & driving from Rome to Amandola in Le Marche. We normally drive cross country and stop for lunch in Amatrice. However being Catholics we will be on fish that day so thought we would go on the motorway to the coast and then up. Any recommendations (ideally based on personal experience) for somewhere good for a fishy lunch?

I second Anne's recommendation. I've eaten there several times. Always excellent. You'll need to book in plenty of time though for that day. Buon appetito.:yes:

There's a restaurant in San ben on the lungomare sud called Bar Americo Village- we had the most incredible baked fish there last year

I can recomend the chalet at "La Perla" in Cupra Marittima for lunch with fantatic views of the sea and the beach. As David said, wherever you go, definitely book ahead.

Thanks for the suggestions - I think I originally recommended Campanelli after going last Good Friday - we'd like somewhere a bit further south as it woudl be too late for lunch by the time we get to Porto San Giorgio.
