Muravera (Sardinia)

Muravera is a comune (municipality) in the Province of South Sardinia, in the Italian region Sardinia. Located in the stretch along the south-east of the island, Muravera is a centre of citrus production as well as a tourist resort, including several fine beaches such as that of Costa Rei. The most important event is the Citrus Festival, during which breads, cheeses such as su callu and casu axedu, honey, wines and desserts can also be savoured.
