HELLO My parents opened a post

HELLO My parents opened a post office account for myself and my Mum.  ii hold the post office book here in the UK.  The Post office is in a small village in Italy near Benevento. I cannot travel to Italy becuase I have disabled and cannot travel by areoplane or any form of transport.  Is is possible for me to sned the book to Italy at the post office and asked them to close the account and tranfer the moniey to my account here in the UK.  What do I need to do and whom do I contact. Thank you.
