Barbara King-Searles is a management consultant, wife, mother, grandmother, and home cook whose work has also appeared in Reader’s Digest. Originally from northern Virginia and now retired in Puglia, Barbara’s passion is collecting regional Italian recipes and modernizing them for today’s home chefs. She first fell in love with Italy when she was stationed here with the Air Force in her 20s, where she met her husband.
An avid traveler, Barbara spends her spare time socializing with friends over long lunches, and enjoying the Adriatic Coast’s beaches with her husband and their three Goldendoodles, Millie, Fahye and Gigi.
