Pula (Sardinia)

Pula is a town in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, in the Italian region of Sardinia. Pula is a treasure chest of natural, archaeological and cultural wealth without equals on the Island. As well as Pula's summer nightlife, with events and aperitifs in the squares, there are also excursions and sporting activities. On the Promontory of Capo di Pula are the ruins of the ancient city of Nora. The remains were discovered accidentally when a violent storm uncovered part of a funerary tophet. Just before the site of Nora, stands the church of Sant'Efisio (12th century). At the foot of the sanctuary lies Guventeddu beach (from the Sardinian Guventeddu, meaning small convent). Nearby there is the tourist village of Santa Margherita di Pula, now a frazione of the comune, consisting of a series of fine, white sandy coves with splashes of pink granite - Cala Marina, Cala Bernardini, Cala d'Ostia, Cala Verde, other smaller beaches of the resorts - looking out onto the crystal clear sea.

Recipes

Our recipe of the week is made with "fregula", similar to couscous but with a more toothsome bite. This grain is typical to Sardinia and best serves with a delicious clam sauce.

Flights from Rome to Sardinia

Does anyone know if RyanAir is the only airline that flies from Rome to Sardinia, direct.

Hi, I am starting the process of building a simple minimalist studio space in Sardegna (no interiors walls, no bathroom and just a small kitchen) and I am looking for a good and trustworthy Geometra. I was wondering if anyone here had a good experience and could recommend one.
