The Casina Vanvitelliana on Lake Fusaro

Bacoli is a town of the Metropolitan City of Naples, in the Italian region Campania. Its territory, of volcanic origin, is part of the Phlegraean Fields. The volcano of Cape Miseno and the Miseno port date from c. 35,000-10,500 years ago. The commune hosts the Lake Fusaro with the Casina Vanvitelliana. The building is one of the finest 18th-century constructions; it has an octagonal plan and big windows arranged on two levels, with a long wooden bridge that connects it to the mainland.
