I have the Touring club Italiano road atlas for 'centro' which has everything at 1:200000 which is very handy if you're driving from Rome, Bologna etc to Marche. It may be available on amazon but I got mine from Stanfords in Manchester - there is a branch in Covent Garden too or you may be able to get it online Stanfords' Maps and Travel Books Online
I've not yet found a more detailed map than 1:200000 for Marche - if anyone else has I'd love to know..

Aha - I can correct myself here - have just discovered these on Stanfords website
walking maps at 1:50000 and rd maps of macerata and ascoli at 1:150000 which if you're house hunting in the area would be very handy. Oh I'm tempted now..

The book shop at Ancona airport ( departures ) is worth checking out if you are passing through. They have a mapstand which has a fairly random selection of maps, but i have found some walking maps and other useful items there .
