[quote=Ghianda;83669]Other traditions not so sure - women go to church and men go to the bar.

You know I don't think that applies to just Easter.
Hi - in these parts it's simple - usual antipasti, followed by ravioli with a meat ragu (this used to only appear on menus and be served at home on special (religious) occasions, but now it's a Sunday regular, followed by lamb cutlets - often breadcrumbed and fried. Lamb is especially reared to be ready for consumption at Easter.
Other traditions not so sure - women go to church and men go to the bar.
I have not heard of other traditions, but did see on Francesco da Mosto's tour of Italy some men in southern Italy whipping themselves around the legs until they bled, in remembrance of the crucifiction of Christ - probably not the sort of thing you have in mind for your get together though!!
