8897 Introducing us .....Bologna

My name is Dee and I live with my fiance Gerwyn. I run my own small HR consulting business and "he" is in Oil & Gas management.

I have been coming to Italy from the age of 3 when you could trade/ barter with 200 english cigarettes for jumpers and shoes in the local markets!!
We both fell in love with Italy about 30 years ago and thought one day we would buy a dream house here - we just have!
Its a romantic old house near Imola/ Bologna and we finalised everything last week! ( yes- keys in hand!)

To get going , we are looking ,of course, to meet others in the area, already know one member of this great website , but networking is the key and we want to have fun!

Do please let us know of anyone in the region ...and ay hints and tips for the newcomers of course!

PS I have just started language lessons - but trying hard !
