I also like to see local houses bought by Italians but mainly because I know (hope) they got it at a reasonable price and it wasn't sold for a 30% mark up to a 'straniero'. :winki:
Being a baritone myself when people ask me what's the difference between that and a tenor I usually reply 'tenors are rich'. :bigergrin:

Nothing wrong with a Baritone - especially if you can reach a Bb4 or even a C5!! A Baritone voice is sometimes just pure magic.

Went to see him in Manchester and he was brilliant. Would love the chance to see him on home soil.
Don't think there's much chance of being overrun with 'stranieri', not in this financial climate anyway. We are the only Inglese in our village and the neighbours are so friendly it's inbelievable. We're hoping to make the permanent move in 3 years - fingers crossed!
