10929 Modicasa agency graphic used as avatar

Sally has pointed out that 'Ram' is using the graphic from his estate agency, Modicasa, as his avatar. I think this crosses the fuzzy grey line into advertising, but I'd like to ask what the other Mods and Ronald think.

If the consensus is that it is unacceptable, I'd suggest that we ask him to remove/replace it himself, rather than swing the big hammer.

Personally I can't see the difference between that and an advertising link in the sig.

One thing the use of the logo does make clearer is that the post is by someone with a certain kind of business interest. So before you start to read the post you should have that level of awareness. It does make it easier to spot than the traditional linking line at the end. I think it adds to transparency.
