With all the interest in helping the people of L’Aquila Province following the devastating earthquake, I thought people may be interested to see a British organisation, which has already responded.
Thanks for sharing that Nielo... It's actions like this that warm the cockles of your heart. Such a rapid and very useful response to such an emergency.
How many of us would like to be involved in such things? Everyone I bet! But we can't be, so our only way of helping is to decide to buy one less pack of cigarettes or one less beer. Buy a cheaper cut of meat this weekend, or do without that extra bar of chocolate, or the 'special' goodies we like - and put our hands in our pockets and send, even if it's only a few bob (I'm sure some of you remember what 'they' are), the money we've saved to our appeal here!!!
For those who haven't done so already - it's quite painless. Doesn't even hurt your pocket or purse!
