I know Catania well, I go to Taormina for my holidays every year and will start my new job as a holiday rep in Taormina very soon. I cant wait to move to Sicily, London too is a great place I find that a lot of my italian friends like it.

Ciao, Fabio. Since you lived in Catania, do you have any information on the samll town just north of Catania, Cannizzaro? That is my family name and we stayed there 3 years ago but no one knew anything about how the town got it's name or it's origin. Grazie.

(Thanks for the keyboard tip in the other thread!! Trouble is I am never sure if the characters will print out on another screen as anything other than a little square box - which is why I habitually type Euro, rather than.....let's see if it works...€....can't wait to send and view this message...)
