I may need to tow a caravan from Le Marche down to Puglia, (Ostuni) beginning of July. Does anyone know anybody who could help me out? Car hire companies wont hire a towing vehicle.

I can see that this could present pretty well insurmountable difficulties - in Italy any large trailer needs to have a number plate in its own right: is the caravan Italian or British?
If you can tow it with a UK reg vehicle that will be okay, otherwise you could ask a Mercedes dealer who (as far as I know) all hire out vans, and they may be able to help.
