3886 Sant Agnello.

I am looking for a property in Sant Agnello, near Sorrento. I am looking for an apartment, or house. Planning on retiring out there, and I would like to start preparing.
Can anyone give me some advice, or contact number's?

Hi Anastasia.
I am visiting Sicily for my vacation this year, 1st of July. My wife and I have been discusing the possibility of buying something in Sant Agnello, as it is a wonderful place. Very pieceful, and wonderfull people. And the climate is very good also. Mild winter's.

Hi Allan

Agree it's a nice place, but hardly any real estate comes up for sale in the best areas due to high value and return from tourist rentals. This means people don't easily let go of the geese that lay golden eggs.

I would certainly be very interested to know if you find a decent immobilare in this area, as there seems to be a recent influx of "estate agents" catering to the English speaking market.

I would be cautious if dealing with agents BASED in the UK who are selling property in THIS area.

Hi Anastasia.
Thank you for the warning. I would only deal with an Italian agent anyway. As you said, there is not a great deal being sold in the Sorrento area. I will just have to hope that some day, something will come up, that will be what I am looking for.

There isn't an agent in Sant Agnello, you will have to try Sorrento or Salerno, try [url]www.paginegialle.it[/url] and search for immobiliare or agente immobiliare and see who has a web site. I would think very few.
Three years ago there was nothing under 200.000 euro, I would up the price by at least 30% now.
