3899 Serie A fixtures 06/07

Hi

I am travelling to Rome and Florence in September and wanted to catch a Serie A match. I expect to be in Rome for the Sat/Sun and would especially love to see Roma or Lazio play.

I understand it is a little pre-mature to get the fixtures now but was wondering when they are expected to be announced. Will it be July similar to the UK?

Also how easy is it to get tickets? Can you pay on the door? How much on average?

Thanks in advance

Paul

The fixtures won't be published before August and maybe late in August while they decide which division Juventus are in. Prices are relatively cheap. I saw Fiorentina v Parma in 2004 for about 40 euros.

We are all waiting with baited breath to find out if there will be a Serie A next year or if they will all be moved down to B or C!!!!

do you really believe that they will send down juve, milan, lazio, fiorentina end who else is involved ? forget that. it's always the little teams who have to suffer. like in the past years taking away points from siena and other teams.

i really dont like all the big clubs. for me they should go all down. all of them. its a shame.
but it wont happen.

viva la ROBUR !!!!!

There is history of this, Milan and Lazio were relegated back in the 80's to Serie B. I think if the allegations are proven, Juventus should be relegated. The punishment has to fit. It would seem the allegations against Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina are lesser and therefore a fine will suffice.

Juve will have to go down to Serie B (C in my opinion!) Uefa will put pressure on FIGC to be a bit stricter this time.Still don't think iit's enough. 1 year and they'll be back in Serie A!
As for tickets in Rome - very simple as it's never full - I went last September and it was 25 Euro to watch Roma.Good atmosphere usually and Roma are showing signs of being a decent team.Still not my favorite stadium as it's too far from the stands to the pitch. The best stadiums here San Siro and Genoa-Sampdoria as you are closer to the pitch - better view and atmosphere. In general the stadiums are quite dated now and in need of some re-building.When you compare with British and German stadiums they are starting to look 20 years out of date.Maybe things will improve if Italy hosts Euro 2012.

Hi Paul

I went to see Lazio in January this year. Fantastic. Very easy to get tickets - unless it's a Rome derby. The shop Lazio Point, close to Termini, will supply you with tickets. You need to take your passport, order your ticket, then return an hour or so later to collect. For the real deal get a ticket for the Curva Nord. My ticket cost 14 euros.

You need to make your mind up where your loyalties lie though, in my opinion. It is my opinion too that Lazio is the only team to support - the attitude of the Irrudicibili shows true fan power. The Lazio Point shop is unmissable. The huge Roma Merda poster in the door says it all really.

Forza Lazio!!!
