3901 Italian to German Translations - Abruzzo ?

I have been working with a high school teacher from Teramo to translate small Wikipedia (an online dictionary) articles from Italian to English. Here is an example: [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valle_San_Giovanni]Valle San Giovanni[/url]. We are looking for a volunteer to assist us in translating some of these articles into German. For anyone with the ability and a desire to help out a good cause, this would be an excellent ways to improve your Italian, gain practice in translating, and maybe get invited to Lucio's house for a bicchiere or two of vino.

Hi, I'm a UK-based native German speaker with excellent English and intermediate Italian. Please pm. Do you require Italian - German or is it also possible to translate from the English translations of the Italian originals into German? Your post is a bit ambiguous :)

Sorry about the ambiguity. Will try again. There currently exists Ialian- language Wikipedia articles about the province of Teramo, some of the communes in the province (e.g., [url]http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torricella_Sicura)[/url], and some of the frazioni within the communes (e.g., [url]http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valle_San_Giovanni)[/url]. I myself have translated some of these into English.
We are looking for someone who has the time or interest or ?, to start with either the original Italian, or my English version, of the article and freely translate it into German to be placed on the German Wikipedia site ([url]http://de.wikipedia.org/)[/url].
Wikipedia is open source so you can just go ahead yourself if you are comfortable or write to me (ulissi_at_hotmail.com). Can send you a list of the comunes and frazioni that we have completed so far.
