I took this photo while exploring Florence and making my way to Ponte Vecchio. I thought it captured a small glimpse of Italian life.

Our first day in Lecce, we asked the receptionist for a lunch recommendation. We were told to go to Cittadino and this was our fantastic lunch with a glass of rose.

I met this kind man while walking the streets of Gallipoli. He offered me a really spicy pepper, proceeded to find laugh and then he provided me with a delicious fig. This was a fun exchange with a local while I struggled through with poor Italian.

Puglia is very rural, so I thought this photo captured a glimpse of the fresh produce available all over the place.

I like the color in this photo and it really just doesn't really seem like this would be a place in Italy. It's a great photo opportunity for a selfie.
