In her latest album, called “Senza paura” (Without fear), Italian singer Giorgia’s features a high-profile collaboration: she duets with Alicia Keys in the single I will pray.
Giorgia’s new album was entirely recorded in Los Angeles and includes the newly-released single Quando una stella muore and two other important collaborations, with Ivano Fossati (Oggi vendo tutto) and Olly Murs (Did I lose you).
On working with Alicia Keys, Giorgia said: “I sent her the song, performed by me in Italian, even though I didn’t really think she would get back to me. She took some time to try it out and months went by. Then, when we were almost done recording the album, she called. She had it translated and adapted to her, but she also wanted to sing some parts in Italian, which is even more surprising.”
