Italy has revived a tax on porn as part of a raft of measures to help the country through the financial crisis.
The tax, first applied in 2005 but then axed, slaps an additional 25% take on earnings from the production and distribution of all pornographic materials.
The porno tax comes into effect immediately and therefore applies to earnings from 2008, the government said Friday.
