''This is just the start,'' said Inter Milan star Zlatan Ibrahimovic after the Serie A leaders demolished Lazio 3-0 at the Olimpico to keep their six-point lead over AC Milan and Juventus.
Ibra's boss Jose' Mourinho agreed.
''We are aware of our strength and we're not afraid of anyone,'' he said, looking forward to a home game against bottom club Chievo next week, when Juve host Milan.
''We will either go further in front of both of them or leave one at -9,'' he said, seeing the win against Chievo as secure.
Inter are on 36 points, Milan and Juve on 30, Napoli 27, Fiorentina 26, and Genoa, which edged a brutal Genoese derby against Sampdoria Sunday night, on 25.
Both of Inter's challengers struggled Sunday with Juve only managing a 2-1 win at lowly Lecce and Milan scraping past 9th-placed Catania at the San Siro, 1-0.
Ahead of next week's big match between Juve and Milan Sunday night, Italy's three Champions League representatives, Inter, Juve and Roma, will be aiming to clinch top spot in their respective groups on Tuesday and Wednesday.
