AC Milan defender Kaka Kaladze apologised Monday for an outburst against a referee who handed Torino a late penalty from which they equalised Sunday night.
''I'm very sorry for my outburst, which must have been caused by the post-match stress,'' Kaladze told reporters.
He denied press reports that he called referee Stefano Farina ''rubbish,'' saying he had only commented on the decision.
Kaladze was widely quoted Monday as calling the decision ''scandalous'' because the ball - as subsequent replays appeared to show - hit him on the upper thigh before bouncing onto his arm.
