Today, 8th of February, Laura Pausini and her partner Paolo Carta have welcomed a baby girl named Paola. The name of the baby is the combination of the names of both parents who published a photo of Laura's belly with the date of her daughter's birth written on it on the singer's official website to share their happiness with the fans.
On the 1st of February, Laura wrote on her FB page: "February has finally arrived, a month that has always given me so much ... People to love (many!) and unexpected awards (February 8, 2006 I won the Grammy Award and on the 27th of February 1993 I won Sanremo Music Festival). I think this year will be the best February in my life, not because I will celebrate my twenty years in music ... I know that February this year will change my life :) ... I look forward to it!"
The singer had announced her pregnancy on September 15, during a gathering of her fan club.
