The solemn funeral for the victims of Monday's earthquake concluded in L'Aquila Friday with a prayer by a Muslim imam.
The six Muslim victims of the quake were not among those present at the mass funeral, but Union of Islamic Communities President Mohamed Nour Dachan said everyone ''shared the sorrow for all the fellow victims of the earthquake that has injured Abruzzo's heart''.
Dachan prayed in the name of ''human brotherhood'' that the region ''would return to flower and prosper with all its colours, perfumes and inhabitants''.
