Rome has several train stations and many trains hailing from other Italian cities stop at its two largest rail hubs: Tiburtina and Termini. The latter, sprawling across 225,000 square meters and servicing an average of 850 trains per day, is by far the city’s largest and busiest train station and the most convenient option for catching a connecting train further afield in Italy or for stopping to visit Italy’s capital city for a short or long stay.
