The tabletop game places red against blue, drop in the ball, spin the handles and try to score a goal. Seemingly harmless, one Sicilian mayor has issued a decree to ban the foosball games at night.
It seems Michele Termini, mayor of Campobello di Licata, thinks that tabletop football is too rowdy a game. The politician claimed that billiards and other games placed on the sidewalk in front of bars causes continuous chatter, disturbing residents.
Hooligan mini-football players will no longer be allowed to play after 9 pm. Those wishing for a friendly game of foosball will have to leave Campobello di Licata!
